President's Page & State Project
Hello, my name is Britany Heckethorne, and I am the 2010-2011 C.A.R. Washington State President. I have been a member of C.A.R. since 2003, and I have served in almost all society and state offices since then. I joined C.A.R. in Oregon, but I transferred my membership to Washington last year.
I am currently attending Oregon Connections Academy while I complete my high school work towards graduation in June. I will be attending Portland Community College in the fall. I have not decided my major as of yet, but I love history and international relations.
I am very excited to be the Washington State President for 2010 to 2011. I love C.A.R., and I want to do my part to help it grow into the future. I am also currently a DAR member in Oregon, and I will be a DAR Debutante beginning at the Oregon State Conference in May and lasting for the entire year.
Please take a look at the specifics of my President's Project on the following pages. I have picked the flag of the United States because I love everything about flags. I collect flags from around the world, but, of course, the U. S. flag is my favorite. Please contact me if you have any questions.
Please help me to accomplish the goals of my President's Project. I am asking for direct donations, or your purchase of a 13-star flag pin. If you have any questions, or you would like further information, please contact me at: HecBri@wastatecar.org
I appreciate any help that you can give me. Sincerely,
Britany Heckethorne WSSCAR State President
