  Awards Announced for Mount Rainier Society at the 2011 C.A.R. National Convention

The newest local C.A.R. society had its organizing meeting on August 29th in Redmond Washington. The organization was confirmed at the Senior National Board of Management meeting on October 18, 2010.
The meeting was held at the Redmond Library. Bylaws were adopted and new officers and senior officers were installed. Guests included Brittany Heckethorne, C.A.R. State President, John Berg, C.A.R. Senior State President, Jan Nelson, DAR State Regent, and Bob Doughty, SAR State President, and Alice Stenstrom, Regent of David Douglas Chapter DAR. Member officers were installed by Sage Berg, Honorary State President and the senior officers by John Berg.
  A picnic followed the meeting.
